If interested a certified mould inspector can come to your home to do a free visual assessment. This means exactly that, it is a visual inspection, we will not cut into walls or disturb your home in any way.
At times testing may be required, costs will vary depending upon the number of tests. We would never test an area without discussing number of tests and costs with you. Testing is always optional. We use an independent lab and a full report is sent to you, an inspector always goes over the report with you to ensure you understand the results.
Once the issue has been identified our inspector will give you a quote on site and if required we will send you a written quote. At times there could be options on the removal depending upon various issues such as where the mould is, the size of the mould, as well as costs.
Removal – Removal of drywall and mould on soft surfaces is recommended that the removal be completed to a point of 1 foot past any visible mould where practicle
Abrasive Cleaning– Could include Dry Ice Blasting, wire brushing, filing, sanding and/or scrapping.
Non-Abrasive Cleaning – Could include wiping down with warm soap & water, concrobium, or chemical treatments such as On & Gone and Gone for Good
Dry Ice Blasting – extremely effective in destroying mould – Creates C02, which upon contact destroys mould spores so they can’t reproduce. Once the spores are broken up, we use certified mould removal equipment – industrial strength HEPA vacs – to vacuum up the microscopic pieces. Finally, we fog the area with an environmentally friendly, people and pet safe antimicrobial solution to ensure that any remaining spores are killed.
Chemical Treatments – Could include Aegis, Concrobium, On & Gone and Gone for Good.
We could use Aegis. Ideal for all odours. This is a green product with no bleaching or staining properties- safe for all surfaces.
We could fog with Concrobium which is an antimicrobial solution. This is a green product with no bleaching or staining properties – safe for all surfaces.
On & Gone goes on and dissolves mould spores and turns it to a mud. It removes staining and we follow that process up with a treatment of Gone for Good. Gone for Good changes the PH level of the surfaces from a PH7 to a PH 11 to make surfaces inhospitable for mould growth. Once the spores are broken up, we use certified mould removal equipment – industrial- strength HEPA vacs – to vacuum up the microscopic pieces. Finally, we fog the area with an environmentally friendly, people and pet safe antimicrobial solution to ensure that any remaining spores are killed.
